This calculator is an estimate, not payroll or tax advice. It does not calculate income tax, overtime rules, guarantees, benefit deductions, or employer-specific pay policies.

Flat-rate pay formula

Base pay = flagged hours × flat rate

If you flag 52.5 hours at $32 per flagged hour, base gross pay is $1,680 before bonuses, taxes, deductions, guarantees, or other adjustments.

Why compare the estimate with your paycheck?

A pay stub shows a total, but the repair-order list explains where that total came from. Keeping the RO number, date, labor hours, and pay type makes it easier to identify a missing line, a changed labor allowance, or a job posted to the wrong period.

  • Use the exact pay-period cutoff dates.
  • Separate customer-pay, warranty, internal, and other pay types when useful.
  • Record corrections on the period where payroll applies them.
  • Ask payroll or management how guarantees, overtime, and bonuses are calculated.

Track the hours behind the total

Use the flagged-hours paycheck tracker template to list individual repair orders, or keep a searchable digital history in RoTracker.
